Mr. Robinson is a Deputy Division Chief and senior program analyst in HQ Air Education and Training Command. He has served the Air force for almost 53 years both in uniform and as a civilian employee. He is married to Linda Robinson, wife of 56 years, with two adult children.
He has made major contributions to the flying training mission of the Air Force through his expertise on training and the design and implementation of the Flying Training Resource Analysis and Programming (System (FTRAP) which integrates resource requirements, and analytical capabilities to support program development and leadership decision making in the area of undergraduate flying training across the AETC enterprise.
His career includes a combat tour in Vietnam where he flew 211 combat missions, earning the Distinguished Flying Cross, 13 Air Medals, and the Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross. Other assignments include tours of duty in Air Force Logistics Command, HQ USAF, and tours as T-38 instructor pilot and operations division chief, culminating is over 33 years as analyst and manager in the AETC command staff. Considered authority on Rated Management and flying training operations across the Air Force. Service encompasses 28 years in uniform and 24+ years as a civil servant.
