Duncan-Smith Co. (1994 to 2009) – President of investment banking firm that served privately owned companies and their owners. Clients utilized the firm’s services to conduct company sales and acquisitions, raise growth capital, and obtain a variety of advisory services.
Trinity University (2005 to Present) – Adjunct faculty member in the School of Business. Teach a graduate level course titled “Fundamental and Financial Analysis” that uses Harvard Business School case studies instead of a textbook. Students in the class conduct fundamental analyses, perform financial analyses and forecasts with Excel spreadsheets, and gain a practical understanding of accounting and the connections between the income statement and the balance sheet that result in cash flow.
